 Comcare Local Network

Care Corner Family Service Center (Toa Payoh) - Caregivers’ Support Program

The Caregivers’ Support Program was started in February 2006 by Care Corner Family Service Center (Toa Payoh). The main aim is to provide support to caregivers of older persons (age 60 years and above) in the community.

Care-giving can be a lonely and daunting task. So, we hope to tell these caregivers that they are not alone and we care. We aim to match caregivers’ needs and interests, enhance their knowledge, skills, self care abilities and of course to support them through their journey.

Our services are:
1) Information and Referral
2) Caregivers Support Group
3) Casework and Counseling
4) Home Visitation to Home-bound Caregivers
5) Training and Workshops for Caregivers.

We hope to link caregivers to relevant support services and resources in the community within the shortest time possible should they approach us for help (such as which places provide home nursing help).

Please feel free to contact us at 6356-1622 or drop us an email at tpfsc@carecorner.org.sg
